Never in history has the divide between our mediated and IRL selves been quite so porous. The ability to replicate, deconstruct, manipulate and distribute a person’s image and voice presents a swathe of new social and personal possibilities and conundrums.

My Self in That Moment is a new hybrid electroacoustic and live voice work created for an ensemble of 48 tablets and live performance. Continuing Chamber Made’s record of engaging with new forms and technologies in live performance, My Self in That Moment explores the fragmented and distributed self in the digital age.
